East Vancouver Real Estate

Great changes have occurred on Vancouver’s East Side. As a real estate agent working in the area for the past 10 years I have seen a real estate rejuvenation transform entire neighborhoods. There is vibrant new life on Vancouver’s East Side.

Real estate in East Vancouver continues to be a hot commodity. The Eastside is constantly evolving, attracting new businesses and property owners alike.

In 2003 a newly renovated home at Main and E 24 Ave sold for $285,000. Today I would not hesitate listing the same property between $750,000 and $800,000. Condos at the time were selling for less than $100,000 in some areas and today $400,000 is pretty much the norm.

Mount Pleasant

In the mid 2000’s the current version of Main St. in Mount Pleasant was in its infancy. Rapid restoration of run down Main St. buildings has occurred and they are now filled with some of the best shops and restaurants in Vancouver. Considered by many to be the hub of the East Vancouver area, Grandview is yet another area of Vancouver where the real estate business is booming.
